Requirements for attending the Trade Mission to Kenya and Tanzania include:​

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Complete registration form and pay $1000 registration fee. Financial support for this trade mission may be available from the Minnesota Trade Office through STEP (State Trade Expansion Program). To apply for these funds, please visit mn.gov/deed/assets/step-application_tcm1045-131845.pdf

Must be a registered company in the United States in one of the focused sectors and are planning to export your products to Kenya and Tanzania

Your product must be at least 50% manufactured in Minnesota or the United States

You must be looking for partnerships with government and/or business leaders in Kenya and/or Tanzania (MAU will help facilitate)

You must be willing to increase export and trade to Africa

You must be willing to meet potential/interested business partners one-on-one/independently

You must be willing to share your business profile

Secure visas (MAU can help facilitate)

Up to date valid passport

The US Commercial Service at the US Embassies in both countries offers a Gold Key Service which will help set up meetings with partners in a foreign market. This service will be coordinated by MAU, and the US Embassy, but will be paid by attendees. For more information and pricing, please visit trade.gov/gold-key-service

Equity Group Holdings is able to book private match making meetings with its clients, private sector leaders or government officials according to sector interest.
