Laure Djoukam
CEO, Shekina Invest LLC.
Laure Djoukam has been the CEO of SIBA BTP, producing construction materials (tiles, concrete, gravel)
for the past 8 years.
Previously, she held a Program Manager role for the World Bank/IFC, facilitating financing for
businesswomen through the GOWE (Growth-Oriented Women Enterprises), a guarantee fund of millions
USD. She coordinated training and capacity building for hundreds of business women and association
leaders.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Djoukam had worked as a consultant to various international
development organizations such as USAID, EXIM BANK. Her assignments led her to conducting sectorial
analyses in order to define competitive advantages of companies in Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Cameroon
and Côte d’Ivoire.
She has a total of 17 years of experience in Finance and business development ventures and holds a
M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from ESSEC, Douala and an MBA from the Kellogg School of
Management (Evanston, Illinois) with specialization in Analytical Finance.
The President of the Kellogg West African Network, she recently joined the Board of Advisors of Shekina
Invest, a boutique investment firm focused on Agribusiness, Real Estate Development, Clean Energy and
Financial inclusion.
