Join Minnesota African’s United, in partnership with Prosper Africa and Global Minnesota, for the Global Trade Virtual Conference 2021 on The U.S.-African Trade Partnership. The theme for this conference is "Light up Ahead – Burgeoning Opportunities of Trade in Africa." Our focus for the conference is to provide opportunity between the US and Africa to engage and learn more about trade in the areas of agriculture and healthcare. The conference will highlight discussions on trade, exports, and investments between both continents. The conference will also provide opportunities for networking with senior executives of healthcare and agriculture companies in the US and Africa.

Important members of our healthcare audience will include: healthcare professionals, non-profit healthcare organizations, healthcare academic institutions, healthcare technology businesses, tele-medicine companies, mental health professionals, healthcare equipment companies, and health insurance companies.

Important members of our agriculture audience will include: agriculture professionals, non-profit agriculture organizations, agriculture academic institutions, agriculture technology businesses, food and agriculture organizations and farmers.

Other audience members include senior government officials in Africa and the US, members of the diplomatic corps, local foundations and donors, executive professionals, and education leaders.

This conference will be limited to 500 attendees; therefore, we are seeking registration for the event.

Participation will be free.

Minnesota Africans United, in Partnership with SCORE Twin Cities, is excited to announce a 10-week series of trainings for African diaspora small businesses. During the first five weeks, the trainings are focused on basic start-ups, business concepts, creating a marketing plan, financial projection and funding sources. The last five weeks will focus on developing one-to-one mentorship relationships and helping trainees develop a business plan. The final session will focus on a networking and celebration event at a soon-to-be open branch of Bremer Bank in the Midway neighborhood in St. Paul.

Trainings start on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 7:00pm-9:30pm CST via Zoom. Trainings will be held every Monday during this time, through the week of December 6. 2021.

The deadline to register is Friday, September 24, 2021

Graduates from this program, would be recognized for their excellence in completing this training course and their business plans and would earn certificates and attend a networking session along with Bremer Bank and other successful Business. You are cordially invited to Minnesota Africans United Annual Gala Dinner on Friday, November 19, 2021. The Gala will be held at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN. Please join us as we honor African diaspora in Minnesota, businesses that are committed to hiring African immigrants, and the launch of the Koffi Annan Scholarship Fund to International students studying at a college or university in Minnesota.


The theme for the evening is Discovery Through Unity, so that together, we can advance Minnesota without leaving anyone behind. Minnesota Africans United stands firmly in unity, ensuring that educational opportunities are provided for all African immigrants.

*Metropolitan State University is located at 700 E 7th St, St. Paul, MN 55106. Please park in the free parking ramp across from campus. The event will start in the Great Hall in the New Main building.
