BASIC INFORMATION
This is a position for a Research Manager for Deft Research, an Integrity Company.
The company location is Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The job location is open/flexible/remote worker OK.
It is a permanent full‐time position.
Salary will be competitive and based on experience; annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Requirements
5+ years of experience/3+ with Master’s. Degree area in market research, quantitative social sciences (psychology, sociology, demography, economics, political science), statistics, public health, or similar preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage survey projects from start to finish
Preferably has a background in health insurance/health care/other similar industry like financial services
Experienced SPSS/SAS/Stata user
Experience with or understanding of multivariate stats (regression techniques, factor analysis, etc.), segmentation, working with online panel partners
Knowledge or experience with conjoint or maxdiff is a plus
Professional experience developing surveys
Experience working directly with client stakeholders to define research needs, design research, and deliver ctionable reports
Ability/willingness to learn and/or bring new research approaches to Deft, including statistical methods, sampling approaches, software, or data sources.

The Company offers survey‐based syndicated, packaged, and custom research products. The
syndicated studies are offered each year and provide insights into the attitudes, opinions and
behaviors of consumers and employer health benefit administrators. Subjects covered by these
studies include shopping, switching, member experience, and digital health. Packaged and custom
research supports health insurance operations including product development, marketing and
sales, quality ratings and member experience improvement.
The company is seeking a Research Manager capable of handling our growing business. Tasks will
include development and production of syndicated reports (one or more per year) and project
management including interaction and communication with clients. Tasks might include survey
design, data analysis, research presentations, and team management. The successful candidate
will be expected to contribute to the company's strategic development.
