Minnesota Africans United, in partnership with Global Minnesota and Equity Group Holdings (the largest financial institution in the East/Central African region, including Kenya and Tanzania) and with the support of Prosper Africa, is excited to announce our 3rd Annual US – African Trade Partnership Conference scheduled for Thursday, September 8, 2022, starting at 8:30am-12:30pm CST, 9:30am-1:30pm EST, 4:30PM Nairobi Time/Tanzania, 2:30PM Central African Time. Our 3rd Annual US – Africa Shared Prosperity Conference will showcase successful examples of two-way trade and investment strategies that are creating profitable and resilient relationships on both sides of the ocean.
This historic annual African summit features global leaders like President & CEO of Equity Group Holdings, Dr. James Mwangi; and Mr. Travis Adkins, President & Chief Executive Officer, United States African Development Foundation, as well as high-level cabinet officials from the U.S. Government including, US Department of Agriculture, Power Africa, Small Business Administration, U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and US Department of Commerce.
This year we are focused on the sectors most ripe for new initiatives – food and agriculture, mining, education, and the energy sector broadly defined, including electrical power generation, natural gas, and electric vehicle components including batteries.
You will learn about the comprehensive vision of the African Recovery and Resilience Plan, the strategic plan of the new leader at our US African Development Foundation, and how the work of current and former heads of state are bringing new levels of stability and prosperity to the region.
Lastly, the next big mission to Kenya and Tanzania.
