One of the most important values in the United States is education, and through education, this country helps provide opportunities and prosperity to people around the world. Education should be a fundamental right for all Minnesotans, including Africans in the diaspora.

Please join us as we hear from guest speakers that are deeply passionate about the importance of education, and a student panel that will share their journey through education in the United States.

The moderator for the event is Dr. Raphael Onyeaghala, Dean of the College of Business, Education, Graduate and Professional Studies at Southwest Minnesota State University. He is also the Chair of the Education Committee at Minnesota Africans United. He is originally from Nigeria.
